Sparkasse, Salzburg

Along Rainerstrasse and the platforms of Salzburg’s central station, 150 employees of the Salzburg Sparkasse serve the bank’s corporate clients in a newly constructed building with a uniquely longitudinal design. Its proximity to the railway station has earned it the moniker ‘Perron’ – French for platform. Different office zones are spread across some 3,700 m², designed for open communication, with retreat rooms for meetings and quieter work. A self-service branch is located on the ground floor, which also serves as the client reception area and information centre. Some 30 internal units now occupy the business division of the building.

Quiet retreat rooms were zoned using System 3400 Glasline from Inside. The single-glazed system features acoustic insulation of up to 41 dB to facilitate focused work. The profile’s narrow visible width combined with the 10 mm all-glass doors create a transparent work environment that is flooded with light. Window films add an extra bit of flair while ensuring discretion.
